Bush Regeneration Across the Hunter Region

Hunter Bush Regeneration works with landholders, councils and conservation projects throughout the Hunter Valley, Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. Our crews run their own 4x4 fleet, spray equipment and Stihl power tools, so remote and rural sites are no obstacle and jobs are not waiting on hired gear.

Across the region the work is the same at its core: identify what is growing on the site, remove the weeds without damaging native regeneration, replant where the bush cannot recover on its own, and come back for follow-up. What changes from place to place is the landscape. Floodplain riverbanks, spotted gum forest on old coalfields and bushland on the edge of rural properties each call for a different approach, which is why we plan every job around the site in front of us.

Our clients range from private landholders dealing with a lantana problem to Singleton Council and BHP. We also work on mine site rehabilitation and offset projects, council-managed reserves and development sites with vegetation conditions to meet. Field staff hold White Card, First Aid and ChemCert AQF3 accreditation, and crew inductions, certifications and safety documentation are tracked through ConnectTeams, so the paperwork is ready when you need it.

How to Engage Us

  1. Tell us where the site is and what you need to achieve, whether that is clearing weeds, meeting a consent condition or maintaining an asset protection zone.
  2. We arrange a site visit to look at the vegetation, access and priority weeds.
  3. We scope the work, from a one-off weed control job to a staged restoration plan with follow-up visits.
